Do you want to practice pitching, meet new friends, and get feedback from experienced female entrepreneurs? If so, then come join the Female Founders Panel in collaboration with Undergraduate Business Women’s Association and Women Founders on Thursday, November 17th from 7-8pm EST in Schoenbaum Hall 230. After meeting the founders and learning about their companies, attendees will be split into three groups. Each group will pitch for 3 minutes based on an idea that combines the businesses of all three women. Although there will be no winner, the judges will provide valuable feedback to each team. There will be networking at the end of the event and cookies will be provided!
Event Timeline:
- 7:50 - 8:00pm: Judges and exec members arrive and do any necessary set-up
- 8:00 – 8:10pm: BBC/UBWA/Women Founders Announcements and Intro to Event
- 8:10 – 8:20pm: Introductions from each founder (3 min each)
- 8:20 – 8:40pm: Create groups/groups prepare pitches (founders walk around and help)
- 8:40 – 8:50pm: Groups pitch (3 min for each pitch)
- 8:50 – 9pm: Judges give feedback on each pitch (1 minute of feedback from each judge for each pitch)
- 9 – 9:10pm: Open networking
